So, Who Is North Country Directional Drilling?

Great question. Grab a seat. Not that kind of company meeting, nobody’s getting written up.

We’re a horizontal directional drilling company. We put pipeline (water lines, electrical, telecom too) underground, under rivers, highways, neighborhoods, and anywhere else where digging a giant hole would ruin someone’s day, property value, or both. We’ve done it across 28 states and counting. If you want the technical specs, the services page has you covered. But you didn’t click on a blog post for specs. You clicked because you’re nosy. And we respect that.

Here’s the Deal

We’re real people. Not “real people” like a commercial where everyone’s laughing at a salad. Actually real. The kind of people who answer their own phones, remember your name, and will absolutely roast you at lunch if you give them the opportunity.

GC researching us before sending over a bid request? Welcome, we clean up nice on paper too. Thinking about coming to work with us? Fair warning: the bios on the about page are accurate. Family member just checking in? Hi Mom. Random person who clicked a LinkedIn post at 2 AM? Honestly, same. We’ve all been there.

We don’t have a mission statement framed in a lobby. We don’t have a “culture committee” that meets on Thursdays to discuss synergy. We have people who show up, do hard work, and give each other grief about it afterward, because that’s what a good crew does. If you want polished, rehearsed, and corporate, we know a few companies. We’re not one of them.

A lot of drilling companies look the same online. Same stock photos. Same “industry-leading” language. Same guy in a suspiciously clean hard hat pointing at something off-camera like he just discovered dirt. We didn’t want to be that. We wanted you to land here and actually know who you’re dealing with, because when you’re trusting someone to drill under a river with your pipeline, you should probably know if they’re any fun at dinner.

We take the work dead seriously. Ourselves? Absolutely not.
